Where and how can our products be used?
We offer a wide range of robust, adaptable products suitable for an array of applications.
They’re ideal for many different functions when installed in a building. Our range includes cavity wall insulation slabs, loft insulation slabs and flooring solutions to name but a few, with external façade and roof applications also a key part of our offering.
Because they’re rigid and semi-rigid, stone wool insulation slabs can be slotted into spaces like cavity and partition walls with ease, whether these have a brick, concrete, timber frame or other base structure. This also ensures they are easy to lay in-between floors as sound insulation slabs too.
Stone wool is water repellent while simultaneously allowing water vapour to pass through. This makes our slabs a great addition to ceiling and basements, where moisture and damp could otherwise pose problems.
Slotted into cavity wall spaces to block cold air passing through.
Properly installed, slabs can improve thermal regulation and reduce the impact of external noise.
Nuisance noise is reduced from floors and walls in connecting flats and homes.
Slabs can reduce heat loss in attics and lofts – a prime source of this.
Insulation slabs work to reduce the spread of flames and are non-combustible.
Excess draughts are blocked but homes still ventilated through external walls.
Sounds are blocked and heat loss decreased through floor spaces.
