The ROCKWOOL FirePro® Firestop Compound offers a reliable solution to effectively re-instate compartmentation within fire rated walls and floors, offering the property critical fire stopping protection. When used in floors, Firestop compound provides a load-bearing seal.

FirePro® SpeedSeal

FirePro® SpeedSeal provides a tested solution for small apertures where cables and conduits pass through these fire rated divisions, and is available red putty-based penetration sealing solution available in 60mm and 100mm diameter discs. It has been tested in service openings 25mm x 25mm and 50mm x 50mm to seal penetrating services.

FirePro® High Strength Compound

Large service openings in fire protected walls and floors must have adequate fire stopping measures in place to reduce the risk of fire spreading through a building. FirePro® High Strength Compound provides a flexible solution for reinstating fire performance in service openings through fire protected walls and floors.

FirePro® Intumescent Putty Pads

Electrical socket boxes provide a fire risk and can act as a catalyst forthe passage of fire through fire rated constructions. ROCKWOOL®Intumescent Putty Pads provide fire resistance for electrical socketboxes which penetrate fire resisting constructions. Using the latesttechnology, they can help to reduce noise transfer through the construction.

Firepro® Ablative Liquid

When insulating general building applications, ROCKWOOL stone wool slabs provide inherent thermal, acoustic and fire performance in any given application. The Ablative Liquid is used in conjunction with the Ablative Coated batt to enhance fire performance. It can also be used in additional fire stopping applications such as linear and trapezoidal applications to provide an effective seal to inhibit the passage of smoke.

FirePro® High Expansion Intumescent Sealant

When exposed to fire, FirePro High Expansion Intumescent Sealant expands to seal the void around combustible services. Supplied in 310ml cartridges, High Expansion sealant can be applied to combustible and non-combustible pipes among other permanent services.

FirePro® Acoustic Intumescent Sealant

FirePro® Intumescent Pipe Wrap Roll

ROCKWOOL FirePro® Intumescent Pipe Wrap Roll has been designed as an additional solution to the Firestop Pipe Collars and Intumescent Pipe Wrap range, giving greater flexibility and choice. The ROCKWOOL Pipe Wrap Roll is tested to provide fire stopping to a variety of insulated and uninsulated plastic and metallic pipes through fire rated walls and floors.

FirePro® Pipe Collar CE

In the modern construction market, plastic piping systems are utilised frequently around our buildings to distribute hot and cold water, provide ventilation and drainage (SVP), etc. These will inevitably need to be routed through compartment walls and floors. Failure to properly protect combustible pipes can result in open voids through walls and floors increasing the risk of fire and smoke spread. Firepro Pipe Collar CE are designed to reduce this risk.

Case studies

The challenge

Sluseholmen Karré K in Copenhagen, Denmark is a 168-flat apartment block. A high level of fire resilience for the building’s ventilation ducts was needed to ensure the safety of residents – and complement the appearance of the building.

The solution

ROCKWOOL Conlit fire boards were installed to boost the non-combustible properties of the building. These tight-fitting stone wool products help plug any haps where fire or smoke can spread if a fire breaks out.

The results

Conlit products used throughout the ventilation ducts, and sealed using technical insulation tape, obscure joints and protect against the threat of fire to improve resident safety.
