Gweithdy at St Fagans National Museum of History

Situated in the grounds of St Fagans National Museum of History, Gweithdy is a pavilion thathighlights Welsh craftsmanship. The building’s name means ‘workshop’ in Welsh and it wasbuilt to host hands-on demonstrations for crafts in its workshops and forge, and display more than 500 artefacts. It also houses a coffee shop and amenities.

Platys Centre

Located close to the heart of Verona, Platys is a sports and entertainment centre on a former industrial site. Architect Magnoli & Partners designed a scheme that combines leisure facilities with aesthetics and eco-credentials. The site is a nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB) and is Europe’s first sports centre to achieve Silver SITES® certification from Green Business Certification Inc (GBCI). The scheme uses stone wool insulated sandwich panels for thermal efficiency, acoustic performance and circularity.
